hi im currently overseas, but i live in adelaide. i have become interested in Capoeira through my travels and would like to study it as a martial art upon returning to adelaide. is it required to book, or is it possible to just come along and join up? thanks.

  3. Jerome Says:

hi, can you tell me what kind of style, regional or angola, Soul capoeira uses and why? thanks
    J

  4. chan Says:

    predominately regional.
Mainly because that is the style I have been exposed to the most.
I love angola, but I have not trained enough to warrant teaching it.

hello, i’ve noticed that the posts above are a little old and just wanted to check whether you still teach the classes at the King William address at the above times? i’m interested in taking up capoeira soon. Thanks

    Hi,

Just wanting to know what kind of level of fitness you need to start, and if weight is an issue. Also, if it is beneficial to do beginner martial arts first, as my sister and I want to join, but we have no martial arts training.

    Thanks!

  8. chan Says:

    sorry guys,
classes are still running, and we will hopefully be moving in to the new space in november sometime. I will post it when I know, and write everyone an email.
    thanks!
    chan.

  9. Jamil Says:

    Hi,
was wondering if the above class times (and address) were still the same for the new year. Hopefully I can make capoeira my new years resolution! =D

  10. Erin Says:

    hey,

i want to start some classes but i have no experience in martial arts… should i be doing something before hand to start and learn some techniques first???

  11. chan Says:

    hey erin,
no you dont need any experience in martial arts. If you are able to find a good instructor, they will be able to provide the neccassary progressions from someone who has no experience at all!
